How to make this healthy beef and broccoli recipe

How to cook Beef Broccoli? Sometimes called “Beef Broccoli Stir Fry” or “Chinese Beef and Broccoli” due to the ingredients used to make the sauce, and the method of cooking. It starts with beef, sliced thinly or as thick as you prefer, depending on how thick it can take a bit longer to cook, thinner sliced beef slices will cook faster and might burn if cooked too long. Now make the beef broccoli marinade; mix together soy sauce  and black pepper for color and flavor, oil to help keep the beef moist, baking soda to keep the slices tender, lastly cornstarch to give it a nice char. While the beef is marinating, cook the broccoli by blanching these for a few minutes in a pot of water with a bit of vinegar to keep the broccoli florets vibrant. Prepare the beef broccoli sauce while waiting, mixing oyster sauce, soy sauce and sugar for a rich savory and sweet sauce, including a dash of pepper, and a slurry made out of cornstarch and water to help thicken up the sauce. Add in some sesame oil as well to make it even more aromatic.

To cook; Saute the beef slices with some garlic and ginger for aroma, cooking till these have turned slightly brown. Then add in the broccoli florets and sauce. Mix until everything is coated with the sauce. Garnish with some sesame seeds before serving.
