Ingredients

  • 1 kilo chicken legs ( boneless )
  • Salt and pepper ( for seasoning )
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce 
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • Pepper to taste
  • 1 cup cornstarch ( for coating )
  • 6 cloves garlic ( minced )
  • Sesame seeds
  • Oil for frying

Steps:

  1. Prepare the chicken; season these with salt and pepper. Set aside. To make the sauce; in a bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, honey, and pepper to taste. Set aside.
  2. Coat the chicken with cornstarch. Fry in a pan with enough oil, cooking at around 4 minutes on each side. Cook these in batches, set aside.
  3. In the same pan; saute garlic until aromatic, add in the soy sauce mixture, mix till it bubbles. Let this simmer for 30 seconds before adding in the chicken. Cook for 2 – 3 minutes, flipping in the middle.
  4. Serve once most of the sauce has been soaked by the chicken. Garnish with Sesame seeds.
