Ingredients
2 liters water
1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 can condensed milk (390g)
1 can evaporated milk (370ml)
brown sugar as needed
1 cup cassava flour (or cornstarch) (for smooth texture)
pinipig (rice flakes) (optional)
Directions
- Boil 2 liters water.
- Dissolve cocoa powder in 1 cup hot water. Set aside.
- Once the water is boiling, add the evaporated milk, condensed milk and dissolved cocoa powder. Taste for sweetness. Add sugar as needed. Mix well and let it boil.
- Dissolve cassava flour in 1 cup room-temp water. Add to the boiling ice candy mixture. Stir contiously. Make sure no lumps. Simmer for 5 minutes. Then, remove from heat and let it cool.
- Once cooled down, put in ice candy plastics. FREEZE.
