Ingredients

  • ½ kilo chicken liver
  • 1 thumb ginger, sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  •  Pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon sugar (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 2 – 3 dried bay leaves
  • ¼ cup vinegar
  • 400 grams green beans, sliced to bite-sized pieces

Steps:

  1. Heat some oil in a pan, saute ginger, before cooking garlic until aromatic. Then onions till these are slightly translucent.
  2. Add in the liver. Saute till these changes in color, and some of the juices come out. Add some pepper, sugar, oyster sauce, soy sauce, and bay leaves. Mix well.
  3. Pour in vinegar. Cover and simmer for 4 – 5 minutes at medium heat. Add in the green beans. Mix well. Cover again for a few minutes, or till the beans have cooked.
  4. Serve & enjoy!
