Sweet and Spicy Pork Ribs
Ingredients
- 1 kilo pork ribs
- 2 medium sweet corn quartered
- 2 thumbs ginger sliced
- Salt to taste
- 1 tablespoon ginger minced
- 5 cloves garlic minced
- Pepper to taste
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 small bottle of Sprite
- Red chillies sliced
- Spring onions for garnish
- Oil for sauteeing
Instructions
- In a pot with corn, add enough water. Cover and bring to a boil. Cook until tender.
- In another pot, add in pork ribs, sliced ginger, salt, and enough hot water to cover the ribs. Boil for 5 minutes. Remove the impurities. After boiling for 5 minutes, remove the ribs from the pot.
- Heat oil in a pan, add the pork in and saute until browned. Add in minced ginger, garlic, and pepper. Saute for a few seconds.
- Pour in soy sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, and Sprite. Cover and simmer for 30 to 40 minutes or until the ribs are tender.
- Add in sweet corn, toss it until fully covered with the sauce. If you want some spice, sprinkle in red chillies and garnish with spring onions and cook for a minute.

Paano Lutuin :
- Sa kawali, ilagay ang mais at tubig. Takpan at pakuluin hanggang maluto.
