Cheesy Sardines Pie
Ingredients
- Loaf bread
- 2 cans sardines
- 1 large onion minced
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon bell pepper chopped
- Cheese grated and sliced
- ¼ cup mayonnaise
For the Coating
- 2 eggs
- Breadcrumbs
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Take a piece of bread and remove the sides. Flatten with a rolling pin. Slice the sides into cubes and set aside.
- Strain the sardines. Mash the meat and mix these with onions, bell pepper, salt, pepper, chopped bread, cheese, and mayonnaise.
- Place some of the filling over the flattened bread. Add more cheese. Fold and wrap the filling. Seal the sides with a fork. Set aside.
- In another bowl, beat the eggs. Dip the bread in the egg, before coating in breadcrumbs. Repeat until all the ‘pies’ have been coated.
- Fry until golden in a pan with some oil at medium heat. Flip if needed. Enjoy fresh out of the pan.

Paano Lutuin :
- Kumuha ng piraso ng tinapay at tanggalin ang mga gilid. Pisain gamit ang rolling pin. Hiwain ang mga tinanggal na tinapay ng mas maliit. Itabi.
