Ingredients
- 1 kg Mussels (Tahong)
- 3 tablespoon butter or margarine
- 1 medium-size chopped onions
- ground black pepper
- 1 tablespoon fish sauce (patis)
- 3 cloves garlic
- sliced ginger
- 2 cups lemon soda (sprite)
Directions
1. Heat the pan over low-medium heat then melt butter or margarine. Once the butter fully melts, it’s time to sauté the sliced ginger until it browns. Throw in chopped garlic and onion.

2. Once the seasonings get aromatic, carefully add the mussels. Stir-fry the mussels in the pan for a minute. After, cover the pan with a lid. Simmer for at least 3 minutes.

3. Next, take off the lid then pour in lemon soda (Sprite). Season with fish sauce, salt and pepper, enough amount based on your preference. Stir the mussels continuously.

4. Then, cover again with the pan lid for 8-10 minutes. Transfer the hot mussels together with its soup into a big bowl. Best served when hot!

Mga Sangkap :
- 1 kilo ng tahong
- 3 kutsara ng mantikilya o margarine
- 1 sibuyas
- budbod na paminta
- 1 kutsara ng patis
- 3 butil ng bawang
- Luya ( hiniwa )
- 2 tasa lemon soda (Sprite)
Paano Lutuin :
- Maginit ng kawali sa katamtamang init. Magtunaw ng mantikilya o margarine. Pag natunaw na ito, lutuin ang luya hanggang mag kayumanggi. Pagkatapos, lutuin ang bawang at sibuyas.
- Pag bumango na ang mga ito, isama dito ang mga tahong. Lutuin ng 1 minuto. Takpan at pakuluin ng 3 minuto.
- Pagkatapos, tanggalin ang takip at ihalo dito ang lemon soda ( Sprite ), patis, asin, at paminta. Haluin ng mabuti.
- Takpan muli at lutuin ng 8 – 10 minuto. Ilipat ang nilutong tahong at sabaw nito sa mangkok. Ihanda habang mainit pa!
