Cabbage Egg Fry
Cabbage Egg Fry is a savoy cabbage breakfast dish that’s perfect for mornings! Something that’s colorful to brighten up your day, full of vegetables and protein, with a nice subtle and not so overpowering flavor for breakfast. This dish is made of half a cabbage that’s sliced or shredded, an onion, carrot, some salt and pepper, parsley, garlic powder, and eggs. Sauteed then mixed together into a healthy and vibrant looking pancake. This simple breakfast or even lunch or dinner meal can be made in less than 20 minutes!
Cabbage Egg Fry Recipe :
Ingredients
- Half a cabbage
- 1 minced onion ( chopped )
- 1 carrot ( shredded )
- Pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt to taste
- 1 tablespoon dry parsley
- 5 eggs
- Oil
Steps:
- Slice a cabbage in half. Then slice the cabbage into smaller pieces and set aside. In a pan, heat enough oil, saute onions, then carrots and cabbage.
- Mix well, then add in pepper, garlic powder, salt, and parsley. Give this a good stir. Cook until the vegetables soften, then take this off the heat.
- In another bowl, beat the eggs then add in the stir fried vegetables. Mix well. In the same pan with a bit more oil. Place a portion of the mixture in.
- Once the egg is slightly crisp on the edges, flip and let this cook for a few minutes before taking this off the pan. Then enjoy !
