Ingredients
- 7 – 10 large eggs
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- 3 tablespoons calamansi juice
- ½ teaspoon liquid seasoning
- Pepper to taste
- 2 to 3 cloves garlic minced
- 1 large onion sliced to rings
- 1 cup water
- Slurry 1 tablespoon cornstarch + 3 tablespoons water
Instructions
- Boil the eggs in a pot for 10 minutes. Then take these out. Place in cold water to stop it from cooking further. Peel and set aside.
- In another bowl, mix soy sauce, calamansi juice, liquid seasoning, and pepper. Mix well and set aside.
- Heat some oil in a pan. Add in the boiled eggs, fry until it’s browned ( optional ). Set aside.
- In the same pan, saute garlic until aromatic. Add in the onions and cook until softened. Pour in the sauce and water. Bring to a simmer.
- Place back the eggs and cook for 1 – 2 minutes. Mix in the slurry. Cook for a few minutes until the eggs are well coated with the sauce. Serve and Enjoy !

Paano Lutuin :
