Slurry1 tablespoon cornstarch + 3 tablespoons water
Instructions
Boil the eggs in a pot for 10 minutes. Then take these out. Place in cold water to stop it from cooking further. Peel and set aside.
In another bowl, mix soy sauce, calamansi juice, liquid seasoning, and pepper. Mix well and set aside.
Heat some oil in a pan. Add in the boiled eggs, fry until it’s browned ( optional ). Set aside.
In the same pan, saute garlic until aromatic. Add in the onions and cook until softened. Pour in the sauce and water. Bring to a simmer.
Place back the eggs and cook for 1 - 2 minutes. Mix in the slurry. Cook for a few minutes until the eggs are well coated with the sauce. Serve and Enjoy !
