Ingredients
  

  • 7 - 10 large eggs
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons calamansi juice
  • ½ teaspoon liquid seasoning
  • Pepper to taste
  • 2 to 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 large onion sliced to rings
  • 1 cup water
  • Slurry 1 tablespoon cornstarch + 3 tablespoons water

Instructions
 

  • Boil the eggs in a pot for 10 minutes. Then take these out. Place in cold water to stop it from cooking further. Peel and set aside.
  • In another bowl, mix soy sauce, calamansi juice, liquid seasoning, and pepper. Mix well and set aside.
  • Heat some oil in a pan. Add in the boiled eggs, fry until it’s browned ( optional ). Set aside.
  • In the same pan, saute garlic until aromatic. Add in the onions and cook until softened. Pour in the sauce and water. Bring to a simmer.
  • Place back the eggs and cook for 1 - 2 minutes. Mix in the slurry. Cook for a few minutes until the eggs are well coated with the sauce. Serve and Enjoy !
