Pork Fried Rice Ingredients :

  • Pork Belly – our choice of main meat in this recipe. Pork belly has a good amount of fat and meat that makes it naturally flavorful.
  • Eggs – an essential ingredient in many fried rice recipes.
  • Garlic and Onion – beloved aromatics that’ll make the dish smell and taste better.
  • Mixed vegetables – while you can choose to use any other vegetables you have in the fridge, mixed vegetables are just easier to use as these are already pre-cut.
  • Cooked Old Rice – make sure these are cold or chilled rice. Old rice makes it easier to mix the rice and keep it from being mushy. These also absorb the seasonings better.
  • Soy Sauce – gives the dish its light brown color and adds a subtle sweetness and saltiness.
  • Liquid Seasoning – salty, saory and rich in umami.
  • Pepper – to taste
  • A bit of butter – for a nice rich taste and it gives the rice a nice glossy look.
