Equipment

  • Large mixing bowl
  • Hand mixer or electric mixer
  • Spatula
  • Measuring Cups
  • Deep rectangular container or individual dessert containers
  • Knife
  • Serving spatula

Ingredients

  • 2 cans 250 ml each all-purpose cream, chilled overnight
  • 1 can 390 g condensed milk, chilled overnight
  • 2 packs graham crackers
  • 6 pieces medium-sized leche flan

Instructions

  • Whip the cream. Pour the chilled all-purpose cream into a large mixing bowl. Using a hand mixer, whip on high speed until thick and increased in volume.
  • Add condensed milk. Pour in the condensed milk and blend on low speed until well combined. Avoid overmixing.
  • Arrange the graham crackers. Place a layer of graham crackers at the bottom of a clean container. Break crackers into smaller pieces to fill any gaps.
  • Add the cream layer. Spread an even layer of whipped cream mixture over the graham crackers.
  • Repeat the layers. Continue layering graham crackers and cream until you have three layers of graham crackers, with cream between each layer.
  • Add the leche flan. Carefully unmold one medium-sized leche flan and place it upside down on top of the graham layers.
  • Fill the sides. Spoon the remaining cream mixture into the empty spaces around the leche flan. Do not cover the top of the flan.
  • Chill. Cover the container and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until the graham layers soften and the dessert becomes firm enough to slice.
  • Serve. Cut into squares or serve in individual portions. Keep refrigerated until ready to enjoy.

Notes

  • Chill the all-purpose cream overnight for a colder, thicker mixture.
  • Whip the cream until it increases in volume, then mix in the condensed milk on low speed.
  • Break graham crackers into smaller pieces to fill gaps around the edges of the container.
  • Handle the leche flan gently when unmolding to prevent it from breaking.
  • Keep the top of the leche flan uncovered for the classic Graham de Leche appearance.
  • Refrigerate for at least 4 hours; chilling longer can make the dessert easier to slice.
  • For individual servings, assemble the dessert in clear cups and place a small leche flan on top.
  • Store leftovers covered in the refrigerator and enjoy within about 3 days.
