Ingredients
- ½ kilo chicken wings
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon pepper, more to taste
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ cup all purpose flour
- ¼ cup water
- ½ cup cornstarch ( for coating )
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 3 cloves garlic ( minced )
- 1 ½ tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
Steps:
- First prepare the chicken wings; season these with salt, pepper, garlic powder, all purpose flour, and water. Mix well. Let this marinate for 30 minutes.
- In another bowl, place in cornstarch. Coat the chicken with cornstarch, shake the excess off before deep frying for 10 – 12 minutes at medium heat. Flip to cook evenly.
- Place in a strainer and let this rest for 10 minutes. Then refry/double fry for 2 minutes at high heat. Take these out and set aside.
