Ingredients

  • 500 grams shrimp

  • ¼ cup butter

  • 6 cloves garlic ( minced )

  • 3 pieces salted eggs ( mashed with or without the egg whites )

  • ½ cup coconut milk

  • Chilies ( for spice )

  • ½ teaspoon paprika

  • ½ teaspoon pepper

  • 1 teaspoon sugar

  • Oil for sauteing

Directions

  • Prepare the shrimps; cut and remove the whiskers and legs. Devein using a toothpick, then give these a wash. On a pan, heat some oil and add in the shrimps. Cook until it turns orange. Set aside.
  • In the same pan at low heat; melt butter and saute garlic until aromatic. Mix in salted eggs, cook and mash these more. Pour in coconut milk and mix until creamy and thick.
  • Add in the chillies, paprika, pepper, and sugar. Mix and cook for a few minutes until the sauce looks a bit more orange. Toss in the sautéed shrimps and mix until these are well coated.
  • Serve and enjoy !
