Heat oil in a pan, saute the shrimps until these change in color or turn orange. Then take these out of the pan.
For the Spicy Garlic Shrimp Sauce
In the same pan, melt butter and saute garlic for a minute. Mix in chillies, oyster sauce, and ketchup. Pour in calamansi and black pepper to taste. Stir until well combined.
Mix in sugar. Cook until the sauce has reduced slightly and thickened. Add back the shrimps and toss until these are well coated with the sauce.
Cover and cook for a minute. Garnish with parsley before serving.
