Prepare the cleaned squids by marinating this with Sprite. Mix well and set aside for 30 minutes. Drain after.
In a pan, melt butter and saute garlic until aromatic. Add in the drained squid. Saute for a few seconds. Then remove from the pan. Set aside.
In the same pan saute in tomato paste for a minute. Pour in 1 cup Sprite, oyster sauce, and salt and pepper to taste. Cook until the sauce has reduced or slightly thickened.
Add back the squid. Mix until well coated with the sauce. Garnish with spring onions or parsley before serving.
