Place the corn cobs in a pot. Pour in enough water to cover the corn. Cover and boil until the corn is tender. Set aside.
In another pan, melt butter and saute garlic until aromatic. Add in the shrimp. Saute until the shrimps change in color. Once these turn orange, take them off the pan.
Add in tomato paste and saute for a minute. Mix in oyster sauce and Sprite until well combined. Once thickened, season with salt and pepper.
Mix until the sauce has slightly reduced. Add in the shrimps. Toss until well coated with the sauce-around 1 minute. Mix in the cooked corn.
Once everything is well coated with the sauce. Garnish with fried garlic and spring onions.
