Dalgona Coffee Recipe - Easy Whipped Coffee at Home
YUMMY KITCHEN
A creamy and fluffy Dalgona Coffee made by whipping instant coffee, sugar and hot water until thick, then spooning the coffee foam over fresh milk. Enjoy it cold or warm and finish with your favorite topping.
Combine the coffee mixture. In a mixing bowl, combine the instant coffee, sugar, and hot water using the 1:1:1 ratio.
Whip the coffee. Whisk vigorously until the mixture becomes light, thick, and foamy. A manual whisk may take around 10 minutes, while an electric hand mixer will make the process much faster. The finished coffee should be thick enough to hold its shape.
Prepare the milk. Pour 1 cup of fresh milk into a serving glass, leaving enough room for the whipped coffee. You may use cold, iced, warm, or hot milk depending on your preference.
Make the milk substitute if needed. If fresh milk is unavailable, dissolve 3–4 tablespoons powdered milk completely in 1 cup warm water. Allow it to cool to your preferred temperature.
Add the whipped coffee. Carefully spoon the thick coffee foam over the milk, creating a generous layer on top.
Add toppings. Sprinkle with a little instant coffee powder or cocoa powder. You can also add crushed biscuits or a small drizzle of honey.
Serve. Enjoy immediately. Stir the whipped coffee into the milk before drinking for a creamy, balanced coffee flavor.
