Creamy Pork Mushrooms Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 1 kilo pork chops
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 tablespoons calamansi juice
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 5 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 1 cup mushrooms sliced
  • 1 piece pork cube
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 cup water
  • 250 ml all purpose cream
  • Parsley for garnish

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl, marinade pork chops with salt, pepper, and calamansi juice. Mix well.
  • Heat some oil in a pan. Sear the pork slices in batches until both sides have browned. Set aside and remove the excess oil.
  • Melt in butter and saute garlic until aromatic. Cook onions until softened. Add in mushrooms and saute for a minute. Add back the seared pork.
  • Toss these around. Add the pork cube, soy sauce, and water. Mix well. Cover and cook until pork is tender. This should be easily pierced with a fork.
  • Turn the heat to low. Pour in all purpose cream. Cook for a few minutes until the sauce thickens. Garnish with parsley before serving.
