Marinade the chicken legs with lemongrass, ginger, garlic, brown sugar, pepper, soy sauce, calamansi juice, and soda.
Mix well and set aside to marinate for at least 4 hours.
Take out the chicken from the marinade. Place these in the air fryer. Air fry for 30 to 40 minutes at 200°C. After 10 minutes. Open and brush these generously with the marinade.
Continue air frying. After 10 minutes brush with chicken oil. To make chicken oil; cook chicken fat or skin, in a pan until the oils come out. Then add annatto powder or seeds for color.
Then continue air frying until fully cooked. Take this out and enjoy it with some rice, calamansi, or your favorite sawsawan on the side!
