Sticky Honey Chicken Wings

Sticky Honey Chicken Wings are a great party appetizer that not only take a few minutes to make, but are also absolutely delicious! Marinating the chicken wings with vinegar, honey, paprika, pepper, and salt. Then leave this in the oven for a few minutes while you heat up the remaining marinade into a thick sauce to use as a glaze and a side sauce. Once the chicken is crisp, place this in a big serving platter with a side of lemon, celery and carrots sticks. These quick and easy honey glazed chicken wings are sure to impress your guests!

  • ¾ kilo chicken wings

  • ⅓ cup vinegar

  • ½ cup honey

  • 2 tablespoons paprika

  • 1 teaspoon pepper

  • 2 teaspoons salt

  • Sliced lemon for garnishing

  • Celery and carrot as a side

Directions

  • To prepare the chicken wings; cut between the wings and discard the wing tip. Set aside.
  • For the marinade; in a bowl mix vinegar, honey, paprika, pepper, and salt. Pour just enough of the marinade into the chicken wings. Cover and set aside.
  • Place the remaining sauce in a small sauce pot. Bring to a boil, let this simmer for 1 minute. Once thick, set aside.
  • Arrange the chicken pieces in a baking tray lined with parchment. Bake at a 375°F or 180°C preheated oven for 30 minutes or till the juices turn clear. Brush with the honey sauce, flip and brush with more of the sauce.
  • Bake again, now at broil for 4 – 5 minutes or until crispy. Transfer into a serving plate with a side of lemon slices, carrots, celery, and the sauce. Enjoy !

  1. Ihanda ang mga pakpak ng manok; hatiin ang gitna ng pakpak at tanggalin/itapon ang dulo ng pakpak. Itabi.
  2. Para sa marinade; haluin ang suka, honey, paprika, paminta, at asin. Ibuhos ang sapat na marinade sa mga pakpak. Takpan at itabi ang manok.
  3. Para sa natirang marinade, ilagay ito sa maliit na kawali at pakuluin ng 1 minuto o hanggang kumapal. Itabi.
