Ingredients
- 1 kilo pork chop
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 medium sized onion, chopped
- 1 cup mushrooms
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 piece pork broth cube
- 2 cups water
- 250 ml all purpose cream
- Parsley for garnish (optional)
Steps:
- Prepare the pork slices by seasoning these with salt and pepper. Letting these marinate for 15 minutes. Heat oil in a pan and sear the pork slices by batches till both sides have browned. Set these aside.
- In the same pan, remove the oil and melt butter and saute garlic until aromatic. Add in onion, give it a stir before adding the mushrooms. Saute these for a while.
- Add back the seared pork and give it a good mix. Pour in soy sauce, pork cube, and water. Mix, cover and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes at medium heat.
- Uncover and pour in all purpose cream. Mix well, cook at low heat for another 5 – 7 minutes till the sauce is thick and creamy. Serve topped with parsley for garnish.
