Creamy Mushroom Pork Chops is a delicious dish made of pork chop seared then simmered in a creamy sauce made of butter, garlic, onion, mushrooms, soy sauce, pork broth, and all purpose cream. Then garnished with parsley for a nice pop of color. It’s so easy to make it just takes under 30 minutes to make!

Ingredients

  • 1 kilo pork chop

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 2 tablespoons butter

  • 5 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 medium sized onion, chopped

  • 1 cup mushrooms

  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce

  • 1 piece pork broth cube

  • 2 cups water

  • 250 ml all purpose cream

  • Parsley for garnish (optional)

Directions

  • Prepare the pork slices by seasoning these with salt and pepper. Letting these marinate for 15 minutes. Heat oil in a pan and sear the pork slices by batches till both sides have browned. Set these aside.
  • In the same pan, remove the oil and melt butter and saute garlic until aromatic. Add in onion, give it a stir before adding the mushrooms. Saute these for a while.
  • Add back the seared pork and give it a good mix. Pour in soy sauce, pork cube, and water. Mix, cover and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes at medium heat.
  • Uncover and pour in all purpose cream. Mix well, cook at low heat for another 5 – 7 minutes till the sauce is thick and creamy. Serve topped with parsley for garnish.
