The soft and foamy texture of Condensed Milk Cake makes it a variant of sponge cakes. With this recipe, lacking baking tools and usual fancy cake ingredients will not hinder you to unleash the pastry chef you always wanted to be.

I remember the first time I tasted this new flavor of a cake, I was challenged to guess its flavor. It had the same soft texture but tastes a bit milkier and sweeter compared to a regular sponge cake. I was so impressed to know that simple condensed milk can be a possible flavor of cakes, and it was surprisingly delicious! This made me have thorough recipe research on how to make one.

How to Make Condensed Milk Cake without Oven

This is one of the easiest baking cake recipes that you can try as a beginner. All you need is a clear recipe guide, and of course, some ingredients that might be already in the back of the kitchen. These are the butter, eggs, condensed milk, flour, baking powder, and for the toppings, you can use powdered white sugar. That’s basically all of it.

To make the batter, simply beat the butter and eggs. Then add the main flavor of the cake, the condensed milk. Give it a good mix until it becomes smooth. Now, sift the baking powder and all-purpose flour to get rid of lumping ingredients. Mix thoroughly and pour the batter into a lined baking pan. It’s time to bake!

As I’ve said earlier, this would be the easiest and most affordable cake-making. So, lacking some essential baking equipment will not be a huge problem here. Instead, we’ll be using a wok with a heat-resistant holder and a lid. Preheat this for 10 minutes before transferring the baking pan inside. Let it rise for 45 minutes to 1 hour until a toothpick, used to poke the middle, comes out clean. One last thing, top with powdered sugar or any available fruits like strawberries. This cake is now up for serving!
