Trending Recipe Sushi Bake

Sushi Bake is one of those foods that tops along the trend while we are all under strict home quarantine. Surprisingly, this Japanese-inspired casserole is already a trend 5 years ago. The difference of sushi bake compared to a regular Japanese sushi is that, it is ‘deconstructed’. Also, sushi bake is a lot easier to make but the ingredients are very close to being similar.

It’s a good thing that sushi bakes don’t require bamboo rolling mat unlike the regular sushi, and that saves us from a lot of hassle. Instead, eating a sushi bake comes with a nori sheet in which you can wrap the sushi bake. Now that we have plenty of time to experiment in our kitchen more than ever before, we only need to have the will power to do any recipe.

How to Make Sushi Bake

To make a sushi bake at home, you should have the ingredients that you might want to take extra time on finding in stores or market places that offer Japanese seasonings. When all is complete, you can start making a sushi bake right away.

Begin with mixing the rice vinegar, salt, and sugar in a small bowl. Fluff the Japanese rice then combine the rice vinegar mixture with it. Spread it into a wide casserole pan then set it aside. Start shredding the kani and add the creams and mayo. Arrange this kani mixture on top of the flat rice and you can now start sprinkling the seasonings.
